"Nonduality has as many facets as there are human endeavors. Mystics describe the nondual experience in many ways, as loving, expansive, blissful and unitive, lacking any sense of separation.  More than just a feeling, the experience conveys deep and liberating insights into the truth of life and death, self and world. Yet life continues to happen, things change and turn, and each turning is unique. Viewing life turns through the lens of these insights creates a fuller, freer, happier life—the beginning of awakening. Mystics and sages are not the only ones to assert and describe nonduality.  Philosophers speak of reality as unencumbered by the dualistic oppositions we so often get lost in;  a reality lacking such distinctions as mind/matter, subject/object, reality/appearance, self/other, substance/attribute, essentialism/nihilism, past/future, here/there, true/false, good/evil—all binary pairs that cause fracturing and suffering.  Scientists, after having successful...

At the Ashramam of Devima who channels Mukambika Devi near Pollachi Tamil Nad. Close to Palani and Patanjali's guru Ashramam where he did Sadhana

by John Weddepohl  "We cannot know ourselves as consciousness. Nor do we need to. We can only be the consciousness that we are already. Already conscious, we take our consciousness for granted. Rather than acknowledge consciousness, taking ourselves to be a thought, we put the idea of ourselves on a pedestal, and a thought of who we are comes first. Believing a thought to be more important than we are, our obsession with individuality and personality, creates all sense of separation and puts us all in conflict with ourselves and each other. Separating us all, the whole humanity, is only a thought. Thankfully, our idea separates us only as long as our ignorance lasts. As long as we keep ignoring ourselves, holding onto the idea, an idea being relative to us, can never be who we are. Ignorance of our true selves is the crux of the matter. Self-ignorance. Which practices of yoga and meditation can suspend momentarily. But do not remove the problem. Practices can also amplify and rein...

Don't Take Anything Personally Always Do Your Best Be Impeccable With Your Word Don't Make Assumptions. Thank you co creators.  πŸ’—πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ’—   The main factor for developing a higher intelligence in Vedic and Yogic thought is #Viveka , discernment or discrimination between the Eternal and the transient, Self and not-Self, Being and non-being. Yet this is seldom taught at educational levels anywhere. Requires meditation. — Dr David Frawley (@davidfrawleyved) June 23, 2021

“What if it were true that nature speaks in signs and that the secret to understanding its language consists in noticing similarities in shape or in form?” - Jeremy Narby

Stop ignoring problematic behaviour.  Stop letting it slide.  Ignoring passive-aggressiveness contributes to the behaviour progressing to significant issues in relationships.  Practice saying something to intercept statements rooted in resentment, anger, fear, envy, or contempt.   Treat passive-aggressiveness as a symptom of a more significant issue. Knowing, trusting and validating your own fundamental core and staying true to yourself is not easy, but it is worth the effort and essential to your well being. Direct, clear and simple connection via open communication is always the wisest energy and the only way to mutually aligned growth. Listen to the most subtle energy, it does not shout or demand or think it cannot learn something from every interaction.  Remain humble, speak your mind,  remain gracious, take no shit,  remain open, remain teachable, remain curious,  Be interested in others and interesting when you share listen to learn, li...

Many would rather cling to the comfort of a routine known than explore the growth and edges of the unknown – the known being our house, furniture, family, character, work, knowledge, fame, loneliness, gods – The known is that little thing that moves around incessantly within itself with its own limited pattern of existence. The Unknown Is The Eternal Other.

What is the difference between the mind and the Self? There is no difference.  The mind turned inwards is the Self; turned outwards, it becomes the ego and all the world. Cotton made into various clothes we call by various names.  Gold made into various ornaments, we call by various names.  But all the clothes are cotton and all the ornaments gold. The one is real, the many are mere names and forms.  But the mind does not exist apart from the Self, that is, it has no independent existence.  The Self exists without the mind, never the mind without the Self. Realise This For Your Self.  View this post on Instagram A post shared by Somatic Experiencing Int (@somaticexperiencingint)
